Fred Morrison Bagpipes

The Fred Morrison Bagpipe Range, manufactured by McCallum Bagpipes in Kilmarnock, Scotland, combines Fred Morrison’s exceptional experience as an internationally renowned piper with McCallum’s precision manufacturing and craftsmanship.

The Highland range has been developed to deliver a distinctive, powerful and responsive instrument, with its own characteristic drone sound. The range includes the FM2, FM3 and FM4, with each model offering different levels of finish and ornamentation. Beaded versions are also available as the FM2B, FM3B and FM4B.

 

The instruments are crafted from African Blackwood and manufactured by McCallum in Scotland. Depending on the model, the range can feature plain or beaded ferrules and ring caps, imitation ivory mounts, and a variety of metalwork options.

What makes the Fred Morrison range particularly interesting is the combination of traditional Scottish bagpipe design with Fred Morrison's distinctive musical approach.
